This fresh garam dough can be used to prepare both idly and dosa. One dough mix for two completely different dishes with a unique flavor. These are two of the most popular breakfast dishes in South India. The dough is made from the finest quality rice and lentils, which are soaked, ground, and naturally fermented to the perfect degree. Suggested accompaniments: sambar and various chutneys.

Preparation : For Idly, simply scoop the batter onto the plates and steam for 10-12 minutes.
To make dosa, add some water to the batter, heat a pan and spread evenly with a ladle.
For prolonged use, always close the package and store in a cool place.
It will keep in the refrigerator for more than a week.
The dough is already lightly salted.

Note : The packaging may be slightly swollen, which is perfectly normal. The dough inside may taste somewhat sour due to active fermentation. The product seal should be broken upon receipt before refrigerating the dough – even if it is not intended for later use.
